About Us

Green works waste solutions is a social enterprise that provides end-to-end waste management services. We work to bring about environmental & social impact based on the principles of circular economy and global commitment to sustainable development goals. We specialize in designing, executing and running customized solutions across corporate offices, tech-parks, residential complexes, hotels, and events so that waste is managed in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner and to ensure that maximum resources are recovered from waste.

We help to provide on-site solutions for wet waste and the dry waste is collected and sent to a Materials Recovery Facility for secondary sorting and then to recyclers and other authorized end destinations.

OBJECTIVE

Ensure the protection of the environment through practical waste management measures like minimizing and cut-down the generation of waste; maximize the reduction, re-using, recycling and recovering waste. Treating and safely disposing of waste is our top priority, preventing pollution and ecological degradation. Advancing the use of technology to change the dynamic of the waste management system. Ensure the empowerment of labor force at the higher degree which makes their life beautiful.

VISION

One of our core beliefs is too focused to make clean and healthy environment using an integrated approach to managing waste and do business in an environmentally friendly manner within an integrated waste management framework. We use ultramodern management tools that are based on sound economic principles and cutting-edge materials and equipment.

About MRF (Material Recovery Facility)

Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is a semi-automated processing factory for dry waste. The MRF focuses on low-grade waste to ensure complete recovery. MRF center facilitate the recyclable and non-recyclable waste is to be sorted in more than 25 categories, baled and dispatched to appropriate recycling facilities and non-recyclable to cement kilns for co-processing. Material Recovery Facility is equipped with various features to make it an economically sustainable socio-technical model. It’s not only addresses the dry waste management but also establish a best practice in terms of resource efficiency, environment compliance, basic amenities, health, and safety practices and well-being, and acts as a support system for capacity building of the waste picker, Waste worker colonies, waste aggregator and associated recyclers.

Process at MRF Center

The MRF uses a combination of equipment and manual labor to separate, process, densify, bale materials for further transportation or trading to a recycler. The MRF not only do proper segregation and processing of the waste but also implement scientifically approved best practices for human and environment benefit.

1. Manual Separation on Conveyor Belt

A belt conveyor system is used for manual segregation of non-biodegradable waste. It operates in a semi mechanized for selective picking of recyclables. Different fraction of non-biodegradable waste such as PET bottles, glass bottles, plastic, metal, polythene, paper and inert materials was separated using the belt conveyor.

3. Bailing Machine

Baler machine used to compress high volume of plastic waste/PET bottles, into rectangular bales and bind them, rectangular balers are often best for space-saving because of their shape and are usually required to be raised by a forklift. Bales are easy and safe to transport.

4. Weighing Machine

5. Mezzanine MS Frame

6. Forklift

We use forklifts to have better efficiency and reduced drudgery in other processes at MRF.
